Instant BSL support, funded by Access to Work. We want you to feel confident that ClickBSL is the right choice, with no surprises.
At ClickBSL, our journey began from a simple yet powerful truth: Deaf professionals deserve more than just access—they deserve to belong, to flourish, to connect. We noticed a gap in the market – too many workplaces offered interpreting services as an after-thought, the same old one-size-fits-all model, and no provider seemed to combine instant, on-demand support with genuine tech expertise and transparent pricing.
Drawing on years of experience in Deaf inclusion, our team set out to build something different: a service where every BSL interpreter, every tech-guide, every piece of kit is focused on helping you succeed at work, not just get by. So we created ClickBSL – the first service that brings seamless BSL support, tech help and grant-assistance together, backed by people who’ve walked the path and truly understand the challenges. We’re not just a provider, we’re your partner—because your voice, your sign, your story matters.
Yes. ClickBSL is fully eligible for funding through the UK Government’s Access to Work (AtW) scheme. This means Deaf professionals and their employers can use AtW to cover the full cost of their ClickBSL subscription. We can even help you with the application or renewal process to make sure your support continues seamlessly.
That’s absolutely fine — you can switch to ClickBSL at any time. Many of our users started with other interpreting services and moved to ClickBSL for more flexible, on-demand access and better communication support. We’ll help you transfer your existing Access to Work funding and ensure there’s no break in your interpreting coverage.
No problem. If you use up your allocated minutes, you can easily upgrade your plan or request additional support from Access to Work. Our team can guide you through the top-up or renewal process to make sure you always have the interpreting access you need — whether for calls, meetings, or day-to-day communication.

Home Mode provides BSL support for everyday life. You can use ClickBSL at home or while you're out and about, including for appointments, shopping, communicating with organisations, completing forms and getting help with everyday technology
Work Mode provides BSL communication support specifically for the workplace. It can help with calls, meetings, conversations, documents, emails and workplace technology.
Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) lets you use ClickBSL without taking out a monthly subscription. You purchase minutes and use them when you need support. It's particularly useful for quick conversations, calls, paperwork, letters and short technology-support sessions.
Yes. Work mode is funded through your Access to Work (AtW) award and is set up for you by our team once your award is confirmed. Home mode is a personal subscription you buy online for use outside work. You can hold both at the same time — they are separate accounts with their own minute allowances, so your work minutes and home minutes never get mixed up.
Your Home mode minutes refresh at the start of each billing month and any unused minutes don't carry over. If you regularly have minutes left, you can move to a smaller plan at your next renewal; if you run short, you can add a Pay As You Go top-up (15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes) at any time.
You need to give us 30 days' notice to end your contract, whether it is a Home mode or a Work mode account. Your access continues until the end of the notice period — there's no cancellation fee, but we don't refund part-used months. Work mode is tied to your Access to Work award, so if your circumstances change (for example, you leave your job or your award ends), let us know and we'll close the account in line with your AtW funding — you won't be charged personally.
Yes. If you receive an Access to Work award during your Home mode subscription, contact us and we'll set up your Work mode account. You can either keep your Home mode subscription running alongside it for personal use, or cancel Home mode and let it run to the end of the current paid period. Home and Work accounts are separate, so unused Home mode minutes are not transferable to your Work account.
ClickBSL is available Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
First, check you have a stable internet connection — video interpreting needs a reasonable signal, so switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data often fixes it. Make sure the ClickBSL app is up to date and that you've allowed camera and microphone access in your phone's settings. If you still can't connect, close the app fully and reopen it. If the problem continues, contact our Deaf Technology Expert through the ClickBSL portal at portal.clickbsl.com and we'll get you back up and running as quickly as possible. Any minutes lost to a connection failure on our side will be credited back to your account.
ClickBSL provides technical support for issues with the ClickBSL app and devices. You can also contact the support team through the ClickBSL support page
